Daily Mood Exercises What is Dissociation? Dissociation
is a psychophysiological process that alters a person’s thought, feelings, or
actions so that a period of time certain information is not associated or
integrated with other information as it normally is. This process, which
manifests along a continuum of severity, produces a range of clinical and
behavioural phenomenon involving alterations to memory and identity.
Researchers have found that dissociation can be linked to both childhood
trauma and also to Post Traumatic Stress Disorders. This
page is designed to help you discover your own emotional truth. Even if you
are suffering from a dissociative disorder in your life, there is hope. Visualisation It is important to
be able to physically ground and center your energy body in order to stay
focused in the now. Try to feel and visualise the emotions in the different
areas of your body, and imagine the emotions which are present in these
areas. Reiki energetic exercise Standing straight
palms are held at the base chakra. Start with a BI and slowly raise both palms up over your face and stretch up over your head and hold the
breath for 5 counts. Palms are facing toward you. Turn your torso 90 degrees
so that your arms are facing the wall and slowly push the palms back down
through face and down over your torso, all the way down over your legs until
you have covered your entire body with regenerative, cleansing reiki energy.
Still bent, swing your torso back to center and using a BI slowly lift the torso, gathering
up new energy from the floor with your palms as you raise them back up
through torso and face. BO and lower palms to base chakra. Repeat this glorious exercise 5 times. §
Remember BI – breathing in or intrinsic breath.

one, two three or four.. eg BI1, BI2, BI3 etc BO –
