What is Anger?

Anger is an expression of deep-seated emotions,  unique to each person and their experience of betrayal, abuse, sadness, or even grief and a sense of loss. Symptoms of anger vary but are commonly identified by outbreaks of temper, an uncontrollable urge to hurt someone close to you, or simply the need to express one’s emotions loudly by shouting.

This page is designed to help you discover your own emotional truth. Even if you are feeling uncontrollable anger in your life, there is hope.

Visualisation

It is important to be able to physically express the negative emotions of anger that have manifested itself in your energy body. Try to feel and visualise the emotions in the different areas of your body, and imagine the pain and negative feelings which are paralyzing these areas.

Tension and Release

Pulling in your stomach muscles, BI slowly raise both arms over your head and hold the breath for 5 counts. Release the tension and anger by flinging your arms downwards to the ground and between your knees OB, allowing the breath to rasp through your teeth. Grunting and sighing are excellent vocal release techniques for anger. Move arms back up through the body until you reach your head and repeat this exercise 5 times.

§      Remember

BI – breathing in or intrinsic breath. This can be to the count

of one, two three or four.. eg BI1, BI2, BI3 etc

BO – breathing out or extrinsic breath. This can be to the

count of one, two three or four, eg BO1, BO2, BO3 etc
