DAILY MOOD EXERCISES

the seduction of hell?” … addict What are Addictions? Habits and addictions including
alcohol and other drugs, sex, gambling, shopping and many others can be
changed by discovering how they make sense on a deeper physiolgocial level. This
page is designed to help you discover your own emotional truth. Even if you
have suffered with seemingly inescapable addictions for many years, there is
hope. In coming to this site you have begun to take action to improve your
life, and you should be congratulated. Visualisation It is important to
be able to physically feel the negative emotion that has manifested itself in
your physical energy body. Physical addictions create large deposits of
toxicity in your body, which prolong and intensify the feelings of
dependence. Begin by feeling the
urge to engage in your habit or addiction. You may imagine a place or time in
which you would usually do it, in order to get in touch with the urge. Try to feel
and visualise the buildup of toxic deposits in the different areas of your
body, and imagine the pain and negative feelings which are paralysing and
scarring these areas. Tension and Release Starting with your
toes, tension (crimp toes) and slowly release, using a BI and BO respectively. Move
all the way up through the body until you reach your head. ReActivate the
neural networks Activate the neural
networks by cross walking. As you slowly lift your left knee, focusing on a
spot directly in front of you, swing your right arm over the midline and
touch the left knee. Then lift your right knee and swing your left arm over
to touch the knees. Count twenty touches. §
Remember BI –
breathing in or intrinsic breath. This can be to the count of one, two three
or four.. eg BI1,
BI2, BI3 etc BO – breathing out or extrinsic breath. This
can be to the count
of one, two three or four, eg BO1, BO2, BO3 etc |
